A New Chapter for The Script — Launching January 2026

ITAA is proud to announce that January 2026 will mark the launch of a new format for The Script. This evolution brings structural changes that reflect a shifting world and the way information is created, shared, and consumed today.

Our January 2026 edition represents a definitive move to a new digital space—one that enables instant translation, reader interaction through comments, and greater accessibility overall. This transition is more than a change in platform; it reflects our deeper commitment to communicating with fewer limitations and greater openness.

As we move forward, we remain grateful for the foundations that brought us here. At the same time, we ask for your attention to an important new process:

This centralized system ensures that every message generates a support ticket, guaranteeing that all submissions and inquiries receive proper attention. It also supports a more collaborative editorial approach, allowing the entire editorial team equal access to materials and fostering ongoing, collective discussion.

Vinícius Sgarbe, journalist & psychoanalyst
The Script Managing Editor

Vinícius Sgarbe is a journalist (PUCPR), holds a Master’s degree in Philosophy (PUCPR) with a focus on the philosophy of psychoanalysis, and a Master’s degree in Communication (UFPR) with a concentration in political communication. He is a member of the Otávio Frias Filho Chair of Studies in Communication, Democracy, and Diversity (2023–2024 and 2025–2026) at the Institute of Advanced Studies (USP).

He is a psychoanalyst and a member of Brincada do Ouvir (São Paulo), as well as an organizational transactional analyst certified by the National Union of Transactional Analysts (UNAT).

He has worked as a multimedia reporter for CBN Curitiba radio and for the G1 Paraná news portal under RPC. He served as a Brazil correspondent for Iran’s state television channel Shabake Khabar, and also worked as a TV fixer for the Persian and Arabic services of BBC London. Additionally, he was a special political correspondent for O Globo in Rio de Janeiro.

He is a co-founder of the production company Outras Terras Filmes and of the Lab Digital 2050 project. In 2023, Lab Digital 2050 became a Google startup.
