The ITAA board is about to evolve a strategy for the newly formed ITAA Professional Association which will give us a shared focus and direction for the next 3 to 5 years. We are looking to gather perspectives to bring to our discussions. We would love to received your responses to the following 4 questions:
1. What aspects of your ITAA membership do you find most valuable?
2. What changes or enhancements would make ITAA a more attractive membership organization?
3. What else could ITAA provide to support your TA learning and/or professional journey?

Social Engagement Committee New Members Sought
The Social Engagement Committee (SEC) plays a vital role in serving the TA community by offering engaging workshops and exploring relevant topics such as LGBTQ+ issues, eco-TA, and the impact of global disturbances on the personal and professional lives of TA practitioners. The SEC’s mission is to foster dialogue around political and social themes that intersect with the work and lives of TA practitioners. Living and working with TA does not occur in isolation; it is deeply influenced by the societal and political contexts we navigate. Transactional analysis has a rich history of engagement with political and social dimensions. From the early contributions of figures like Claude Steiner, Martin Groder, and Muriel James, to contemporary practitioners actively involved in social and political initiatives, TA has consistently provided a framework for addressing societal challenges. The SEC has established a strong foundation and remains committed to continuing this important work. We are interested in welcoming new individuals to join the committee, so if you are passionate about exploring the intersection of TA, politics, and social issues, we encourage you to get involved and help shape the future of the SEC. Send all IBOC exam applications (Forms 12.7.4 and 12.7.3 for CTA exam application or 12.11.4 and 12.11.6 for TSTA exam application) to: iboc_admin@itaaworld.com. Exams subject to availability of qualified examiners/exam supervisors who must be at least a CTA (for a CTA exam) or a TSTA (for a TSTA exam). The IBOC is not responsible for expenses incurred when exams are canceled or postponed due to unavailability of qualified examiners/exam supervisors. IBOC CTA exam candidates must submit the written case study no later than SIX months before the oral exam date.
Submit all IBOC TEW applications (Form 12.10.1 for the Training Endorsement Workshop application) to iboc_admin@itaaworld.com
CTA Written Exam Online Markers Workshops are intended to support ITAA members, certified to CTA, PTSTA or TSTA level, who wish to be involved in the marking of IBOC CTA Written Exams. There are two workshops: one intended for those new to marking exams and one for those with experience of marking. The workshops are free to attend.
