This year we will conduct the ITAA Annual General Membership meeting (AGM) during the 2025 World TA Conference in Montpellier, France. The date is 9 August 2025 from 8–8:50 am CEST (or 6am–6:50 UTC). The celebration of the 2025 ITAA awards will occur at a different time. The ITAA Board of Directors invites active members to attend this meeting in person or online if attending in person is not possible.
For us to plan the event, we need you to register for it. Watch for an ITAA email with a link to register soon. You will receive a Zoom invitation link closer to the date. We will use the Zoom online meeting platform for hosting the online part of this event. You can download the application free from the website: https://www.zoom.us
ITAA members in good standing as of 30 June 2025 are entitled to vote. Be sure to join us.

The ITAA Social Engagement Committee had planned a webinar series titled "Avoidance & Engagement in a Disturbed World." Two of which were presented last year on January 23 and April 22, and one this year on May 6.

These will include the 2025 Eric Berne Memorial Award to Keith Tudor, the 2025 ITAA Research Award to Roland Johnsson, the 2025 Service Awards to Michelle Thomé and John Oates.
We will also deliver the plaque for the 2024 Eric Berne Memorial Award to Zefiro Mellacqua.
We hope you will join us in honoring and celebrating these individuals for their outstanding contributions to the ITAA and the transactional analysis community worldwide.

The monthly ITAA Ethics Committee meeting took place on June 19th and included a heartfelt farewell to Marina Rajan Joseph, who is stepping down from the committee to take on her new role as TEW Coordinator.
During her time on the committee, Marina brought exceptional clarity, integrity, and thoughtfulness to every discussion. Her ability to listen deeply and offer wise, balanced perspectives made a meaningful impact in our work.
Thank you, Marina, for your generous contributions and steady presence. You will be truly missed, and we wish you all the very best in this exciting new chapter!

We are defining the acceptable use of AI (Artificial Intelligence) in TA Exams. AI is increasingly present in our lives, raising ethical and existential questions due to its expanding capabilities.
Many educational institutions worldwide have updated their policies on the acceptable use of AI, and the TA community needs to do the same. In a joint initiative, EATA / PTSC and ITAA / PSC have asked James Longwell PTSTA(O) to lead the development of an AI acceptable use policy specifically for the examination process. The aim of this policy is to ensure fairness and integrity, providing a clear framework for how AI tools can and should be used in TA examinations.
James invites anyone interested in contributing their perspectives and expertise to this important development to get in touch by contacting him at jamesalongwell@gmail.com

What a journey! WTAC 2025 is already a great success with 810 participants from 46 countries registered. It`s turning into a truly exceptional opportunity for our global TA community to come together, share, and grow.
If you haven’t booked your ticket yet, now is the time. Ticket sales will close at the end of June or once we reach 900 participants; whichever comes first. With the current momentum, we expect to be fully booked very soon.
The Gala party is also shaping up to be a memorable celebration, with 220 guests already signed up for a joyful evening of music, connection, and shared joy.
